North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) maintains a register of primary care providers willing to volunteer services and support in response to natural disasters or other emergency situations.
At times of sudden crisis existing health infrastructure can be overwhelmed. The health and safety of our community depends on the selfless actions of people prepared to donate their skills and knowledge.
In recent years, NWMPHN emergency response volunteers have helped out in various situations including high-rise tower lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2016 thunderstorm asthma outbreak, the 2022 Maribyrnong flood, and the 2021 evacuation flights from Afghanistan.
If you are interested in becoming part of our pool of potential health care volunteers, we’d love to have you! To sign up, please fill out this form.
